CPD day on Tyrolean for Groups. Course Full

Latest Comments

I’m putting together a days CPD aimed those wanting to look a little deeper into the rigging and managing of a Tyrolean Travers in an adventure setting for groups.

Course Full

The day will be appropriate for those with a high level of competence with regards to rigging, and qualifies as a CPD event for AMI members.

During the day we’ll look over some of the findings and work completed over the last few years to develop the BCAs Tyrolean module however with the view of running these activities above ground!

There will be opportunities to look at a range of kit and rigging considerations for running an adventure Tyrolean, including access to a portable load cell which can record real time information on the loads achieved in both rigging and use of a Tyrolean.

Both days will be based at Geironydd Gorge, Trefriw, meeting up at Gower Rd, Trefriw at 9:30am before heading up to the gorge.

Sorry this course is now full. If you’re interested in getting a team together for a future course you can get in touch here. I’m happy to run the day if there’s enough interest.
