Petzl have just released the following (only available in French at the moment, or at just can’t find the English version) on the friction several of their devices produce during hauls. The numbers speak for themselves.
the Maestro is a new multi purpose device aimed at rescue teams, although it looks fantastic it’s size, weight and price tag makes it highly unlikely to make its way onto a cavers harness!!
